System Requirements
Let’s start with the system requirements. Prior to installing VisionCore, your Server and Workstations must meet these requirements. For a better performance of VisionCore, Comtech Solutions strongly recommends exceeding these requirements.
A. Workstation
Hardware Minimum Requirements
•2GHz Intel or AMD Processor (4 GHz or faster recommended)
•1GB of RAM or greater recommended
•Approximately 750 MB of available hard-disk space (1GB available space recommended)
•CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive (If installing from CD)
•Mouse or compatible pointing Device
•Super VGA (1,024x768) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
Software Minimum Requirements
•Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with SP4
•.NET Framework 2.0 (This can be downloaded from here).
•Compatible Windows Web Browser (For downloads and updates)
•Visual Studio 2005 or any Visual Studio Express Editions [For development and working with ICE (Integrated Code Expansion)]

B. Server
Hardware Minimum Requirements
•PC with a 1.5 GHz processor required; 3 GHz or faster processor recommended; support for up to four processors on one server)
•1.5 Gb of RAM required; 2-3 Gb recommended; 4 GB maximum
•1.25 to 2 GB of available hard-disk space (5 GB of available space recommended)
•CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
•VGA or hardware that supports console redirection required; Super VGA supporting 800 x 600 or higher-resolution monitor recommended
•10/100 MB LAN (100/1000 Gigabit LAN recommended)
Software Minimum Requirements
•Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP/Vista
•.NET Framework 2.0
•SQL Server 2005 Express Edition or greater
