Adjust Tax

The Adjust Tax form can be accessed from  Sales menu > Point of Sale - Login > Sales Receipt form > click Tax field in the grid area.

Once this form is opened , you can either click the Apply Tax button or the Tax Exempt button to adjust the tax for the selected item.

Buttons

The Apply Tax button will apply the tax configured for the store. See Stores.  This will only be applied to the selected item.

The Tax Exempt button will exempt the selected item from sales tax, thus applying a zero tax for the selected item.

The Cancel button will close the form.

Press F1 or click F1-Help button at the bottom left of the form for help on the form that is currently opened.

If you notice buttons in this form are designed bigger than the usual buttons used in most areas of VisionCore to cater touch screen terminals.  Also each button has its corresponding shortcut key that you can use for a faster form manipulation or  transaction entry.
