Edit Item

The Line Item Options form can be accessed from  Sales menu > Point of Sale - Login > Sales Receipt form > click the Edit button before the Item No on a grid.  The Edit Item form can open many different forms from within the program and allow you to view or edit the information.  You will be able to do things like delete the selected line item, edit the selected Item No in the inventory items form, adjust price and so on.

 

Buttons

Toolbar Buttons perform an action on the current record like adding, deleting or saving.

Bullet PointThe Adjust Quantity button will open the Adjust Quantity form where you can enter a new quantity for the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Adjust Price button will open the Adjust Price form where you can enter the new price for the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Adjust Discount button will open the Adjust Discount form where you can enter the new discount for the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Edit Item button will open the Inventory Items form where you can edit information of the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Picture button will open a picture of the item provided that it has previously been configured in the Inventory Items form > Images  tab.

Bullet PointThe Apply Tax button will apply the tax configured for the store. See Stores.  This will only be applied to the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Tax Exempt button will exempt the selected item from sales tax, thus applying a zero tax for the selected item.

Bullet PointThe Remove Item button will remove the selected item from the grid area of the Sales Receipt form.

Bullet PointThe Cancel button will close the form.

 

Press F1 or click F1-Help button at the bottom left of the form for help on the form that is currently opened.

 

Info If you notice buttons in this form are designed bigger than the usual buttons used in most areas of VisionCore to cater touch screen terminals.  Also each button has its corresponding shortcut key that you can use for a faster form manipulation or  transaction entry.
