The Positive Pay Format form can be opened from the Accounting menu > Positive Pay Format. This form is used to configure positive pay format that you can use when Processing Positive Pay and at the same time allow exporting/importing positive pay format template.
Different banks require different types of import formats and there is no standard for this. Now this is what this form is used for. This is a template driven or user definitive form so different formats are possible. Aside from the export ability, this form can also be used for importing positive pay format templates.
Positive Pay, also known as Safe Pay, is the process of notifying the bank of checks to be cleared.
