With the Report Script, you can create new report query or modify/edit query that is used to filter data by specifying conditions.
SQL Script Tab
In this tab, you can set the Name and Description of the report script/query, which will server as a reference ID for the particular script/query. In the SQL Query Statement area, you can create or modify report query to be used in specifying conditions when filtering data.
Data Preview Tab
The Data Preview tab will display whether there are existing data for the selected report.
Note: To be able t display data existing for the selected report, you have to click first the Execute button at top of this form.
Toolbar Buttons perform an action on the current record like adding, deleting or saving.
The New button will will clear the form to allow a new report script or query to be added.
The Save button will save the selected record.
The Find button will enable you to Find script or query.
The Delete button will delete the selected script or query.
The Undo button will cancel out the last change/s done to the record reverting it to its older state.
The Execute button will run the script or query entered. This will then display the existing data in the Data Preview tab as specified in the SQL Query Statement area.
The Close button will close the Report Script form.
Press F1 or click F1-Help button in the Status bar for help on how to use the Report Script form.
