Update Inventory Pricing

The Update Inventory Pricing can be accessed from Inventory menu > Update Inventory Pricing.  In this form, select the criteria to be used in increasing the Inventory Prices. You can select to increase the Sales Price, Retail Price, Last Cost, Standard Cost or MSRP and filter that by Vendor ID, Manufacturer, Item Number and/or Primary Category.

 

You can select also to Update Pricing Forms like Inventory Pricing Levels, Inventory Special Pricing and Customer Special Pricing.

 

Then in the Select method to Adjust Price area, select the percent or fixed amount you wish to adjust the amount by and click the Update button.

 

Bullet PointThe Update by Percent will update the inventory selected price/s (make sure that you have selected to check Sales Price, Retail Price, Last Cost, Standard Cost and/or MSRP) by the percentage rate entered.  Example, Sales Price is selected in the Update Inventory Selected Prices section, Item A (item's selected) has a Sales Price of 20.00, percentage rate entered in the Update by Percent field is 10.  Clicking Ok button will update Item A's sales price from 20.00 to 22.00 computed as 20.00 + (20.00  * 10%).

Bullet PointThe Update by Amount will update the inventory selected price/s (make sure that you have selected to check Sales Price, Retail Price, Last Cost, Standard Cost and/or MSRP) by the amount entered.  Example,  Sales Price is selected in the Update Inventory Selected Prices section, Item A (item's selected) has a Sales Price of 20.00, amount entered in the Update by Amount field is 10.  Clicking Ok button will update Item A's sales price from 20.00 to 30.00 computed as 20.00 + 10.00.

 

The Updating Price field will display the number of items that meet the criteria selected and are affected by the price update.
