The User Control Groups form is used to store all the control groups you can select from the Add Control Group Permission search form. This serves as a template that can be used to quickly assign form controls permission to a user. When you select a control group for the user, form control permissions established for that user will quickly be applied. Then of course, you can edit each form control permission as necessary.
This is completely optional but comes in very handy if you have many users all with several common form control permissions.
1. The Group Name field is used to enter a group name for the selected form controls.
2. The Description field is used to enter a detailed description of the user control group.
3. The No of Controls field will display the number of controls added/listed into the specific group name.
4. The Grid area is used to display all form controls added into the specific control group. In here you can give or deny permission to specific form controls.
Here are the Form Control Permissions to choose from.
Disable – the control is disabled but visible
Hide – the control is hidden and disabled
Bypass – the control is skipped through during “Tabbing” but is still enabled
