Email Campaign - Advanced Tab

The Email Campaign Advanced tab can be used to set email delay options, address options, display template statistics and user history, add file attachments and email address exclusions.

Delay Options

This section is where you can enter delayed time when sending emails, whether individually or by batch depending on how many of emails by batch.

Bullet PointDelay between sending email __  seconds

This is where you will enter the delay time (in seconds) or the time interval when sending emails.  Say, delay between sending email 5 seconds, this means that there will be a delay of 5 seconds after another email will be emailed/sent.

Bullet PointDelay after this many emails  __  for  __   seconds

This is where you will enter the delay time (in seconds) or the time interval when sending a specified number of emails.  Say, delay after this many emails 10 for 30 seconds, this means that there will be a delay of 30 seconds after another batch of 10 emails will be emailed/sent.

Address Options

This option will determine how you will send the emails.  There are four options to choose from.  By default, Individual Emails will be selected.

Bullet PointIndividual Emails - This means that if you will be sending 500 emails based on the criteria you entered, VisionMailer will send 500 individual emails, one for each recipient.  This takes the most time but is the safest against being considered spam.

Bullet PointBulk all Emails To... - This means that if you will be sending 500 emails based on the criteria you entered, VisionMailer will bulk/group together these emails based on the number entered in the Emails to Bulk field below.  If you entered 25 in the Emails to Bulk field then 20 individual emails (500 / 25 = 20) would be sent each containing 25 email addresses grouped together in the To field of the email.

Bullet PointBulk all Emails CC... - This means that if you will be sending 500 emails based on the criteria you entered, VisionMailer will bulk/group together these emails based on the number entered in the Emails to Bulk field below.  If you entered 25 in the Emails to Bulk field then 20 individual emails (500 / 25 = 20) would be sent each containing 25 email addresses grouped together in the CC (carbon copy) field of the email.

Bullet PointBulk all Emails BCC... - This means that if you will be sending 500 emails based on the criteria you entered, VisionMailer will bulk/group together these emails based on the number entered in the Emails to Bulk field below.  If you entered 25 in the Emails to Bulk field then 20 individual emails (500 / 25 = 20) would be sent each containing 25 email addresses grouped together in the BCC (blind carbon copy) field of the email.  Use this option if you do not want the recipients to see all the other email addresses.  When using BCC the email hides all the email addresses from the recipient.

Bullet PointEmails to Bulk - Enter the number of recipients you wish to bulk/group together.  This option is only available for the Bulk all Email options.  It does not apply to the Individual Emails option.

Template Statistics

This section will display statistics about your Email Campaign like the number of times it was run, the total number of emails that were sent and the last date and time those were sent.

User History

This section will display the Date and Time the template was originally created and last modified, the user who originally created the template and the last user who modified the template.

File Attachments

In this section, select any email file attachment you want to send along with your email.  You can specify an unlimited number of file attachments.  Click the Ellipse button to the left of the File Attachment field to select the file from your hard drive.  You can use the delete button (X button before the ellipse button) to delete any attachment you do not want to send or change in the future.

Exclude Email Addresses

In this section, you can enter an unlimited number email address exclusions.  Any email address entered in this field will be excluded from the email recipients.  This can come in handy if one or more of your contacts does not want to receive emails from you any longer.  There is a Reason field in which you can type a short note about why this contact is excluded.  You can use the delete button (X button) to delete any excluded email address, thus making the said email address be a part of the email's recipients once again.
