Paid Bills History

The Paid Bills History form opens when you click Paid Bills History under Purchases menu.  This form will show a line item list of all your posted Payment transactions.  You can also use this form  to void selected checks/payments. Every field on this form is a read only field.

 

The read only fields include the:

Bullet PointCheck No.

Bullet PointVendor ID

Bullet PointVendor Name

Bullet PointPayable ID

Bullet PointCheckbook ID

Bullet PointAmount

Click on the Ellipse button in Payable ID field to open the actual payable transaction and the Ellipse button in Checkbook ID field to open the actual Write Check transaction.

 

At the bottom left corner of the form is an option to filter the payment transactions by Vendor.  Enter the Vendor ID or the Vendor Name on the Filter field at the bottom of the form to automatically filter payment transactions on the grid area.  Click Clear Filter button to clear or remove what has been entered on the Filter field.

 

There are several helpful options that can be set in the Company Preferences form to help make data entry easier and faster.  You should also take a look at the Security form > Default Accounts tab and the Starting Numbers form for other related options that can be set.

 

Toolbar Buttons

Toolbar Buttons perform an action on the current record like adding, deleting or saving.

Bullet PointThe Void button will void all selected checks/payments.

Bullet PointThe Select All button will select all listed payment transactions, and, if you click on the Void button, you will automatically void all the listed transactions.  If the majority of the transactions will be voided you may want to click the Select All then go back and clear the few that you do not want to be voided and click the Void button to void all the selected transactions.

Bullet PointThe Clear All button will automatically clear or remove payment transactions from being selected.  If you want to start fresh after voiding several transactions you can use the Clear All button to clear all transactions from being selected.

Bullet PointThe Reload button will reload the Paid Bills History form and will display all posted payment transactions.

Bullet PointThe Close button will close the Paid Bills History form.

 

Press F1 or click F1-Help at the bottom left corner of the form for help on what this form is all about.
