When you click the Delete button on the Credit Memo form, you will get a message warning that you are about to delete the selected Credit Memo. You have the option at this point to cancel or go ahead and delete the selected record. If you confirm that you want to delete the selected record, VisionCore will delete it and there will be No way of retrieving that Credit Memo again.
There may be times when you try and delete a Credit Memo and VisionCore will not let you. This can happen because the Credit Memo is being used in several other areas of the program. For instance, if you try and delete an Credit Memo that has one or more receivables against it, VisionCore will display an error message explaining that the Credit Memo could not be deleted due to referential integrity. The only way you could delete that Credit Memo would be to delete all the associated receivables first.
The Delete button can be disabled so that other users can't delete any of the Credit Memo records. You can enable or disable the Permission checkbox for Delete Credit Memo in the Security form > Form Permission Tab.
The Ellipse button in the Line Item Detail next to every Item No will open the Line Item Options form where you can choose to delete the selected line item. When this form opens click the Delete button to delete the line item.
