Role Based Security
The security in VisionCore can
be setup per user or based on roles,
groups and policies. This provides
a very powerful security model that
covers every module in VisionCore.
You can set permissions to control
every form, report, control (fields),
menu and dashboard panels throughout
VisionCore. You can also configure
several other security options for
each user. |
User Security Settings
Setup override passwords settings
to restrict changes to a customer
credit hold, sales price changes,
PO minimums or force users to changes
their password on login.
User Profile
Assign defaults to each user
such as their default store and
warehouse. Configure other options
so they only see transactions from
their assigned store or warehouse. |
User Default Accounts
Configure and assign default
accounts to each user using an Account
Template.
These accounts
will automatically be used throughout
VisionCore to keep your accounting
much more accurate than manually
changing accounts. |
User Role Setup
The User Roles is a very powerful
feature that allows you to pre-configure
security permissions (forms, controls,
reports, menus, etc) and then easily
assign them to one or more users.
You can create as many roles
as you want based on the different
types of users you have. |
User Form Permissions
Set permissions on any of the
500+ forms in VisionCore to restrict
access to your users.
Permissions
include Full Access, No Access,
View Only, Add Only, View/Add or
Edit. |
User Control Permissions
Sometimes you want a user to
have access to a form but would
like to restrict access to certain
fields, combo boxes, tabs, grids,
toolbars or buttons.
You
can use the Control Permissions
to restrict access to over 10,000
controls throughout the forms in
VisionCore. Permissions include
Bypass, Disable or Hide. |
User Control Groups
Trying to configure thousands
of control permissions for each
user can be a huge task and this
is where the Control Groups help.
You can pre-configure control
groups in a similar way you setup
user roles and then quickly assign
them to one or more users. |
User Report Permissions
Set permissions on any of the
400+ reports in VisionCore to restrict
access to your users and set other
options.
Each user can setup
options for each report including
a default printer, number of printed
copies, collation, print preview
and print direct. You can even secure
the report criteria so a user cannot
change it. |
Security Policy
Setup a security policy to force
user to conform to Account Lockout,
Audit and Password Policies.
This adds an extra level of
security that can do things like
automatically log out an inactive
user, log details of what a user
does to an audit trail or force
a strong password. |
